DOUGLASS COLLEGE At Douglass College, the girls stayed in the New Gibbons Residence Hall. The building is three floors tall and has eight rooms on the first floor, fourteen on the second, and fourteen on the third. As for the features of the dorm, there is a courtyard in the center, a spacious lounge and laundry facilities in the basement, two bathrooms on each floor, a computer/video networked room, and sprinkler fire suppression. During "Pathways to Politics," the first floor had six girl rooms (with a total of twelve girls) and one adult room, the second floor had nine girl rooms (with a total of eighteen girls) and two adults rooms, and the third floor had six girl rooms (with a total of eleven girls) and one adult room. The rooms of the New Gibbons Residence Hall are 13 by 16 feet, have floors that are tiled, and have windows with blinds. There are two extra-long free-standing beds, two dressers with six drawers, two desks, and two closets in each room. There is also a microfridge in each room. There are many places close to New Gibbons. These include Cooper Dining Hall, Douglass Library, Music Library, Cook/Douglass Co-op Bookstore, Rutgers Arts Center Complex, Hickman Hall, Douglass College Center, Cook Campus Student Center, Cook/Douglass Recreation Center, Intramural fields, Neilson Dining Hall, and Loree Gym.
